Omo-Agege Condoles Family, Army Day school Over Death Of Students Crushed By Petrol Tanker

The Senate President, Sen. Ovie Omo-Agege has condoled with the families and friends of six students crushed to death by a petrol tanker laden with premium motor spirit in Delta State.

This is contained in a statement signed by Aruviere Martin Egharhevwa, his Executive Assistant.

Sen. Omo-Agege who expressed sadness over the demise of the six children also condoled with the headteacher, members of staff and students of Army Day Primary School, Effurun and the Delta State Government over the unfortunate incident.

He prayed that God will grant them succour and spare the state of such tragedy in future.

While wishing the injured students a speedy recovery, Sen. Omo-Agege enjoined vehicle owners to ensure roadworthiness, as initial reports attributed the accident to brake failure by the tanker involved.
